ABOUT US

Ginny
So who is Ginny you ask? She was the owner's mother in-law. She was a beautiful, loving, courageous, affectionate, gentle woman who passed of Ovarian cancer at the young age of 52. Her two daughters reminisce as they recall favorite childhood memories of the amazing smell throughout the house of yummy, homemade pancakes made by Ginny with love every Sunday morning. Ginny, a nickname for Virginia, our family name of four generations is an old-fashioned American name that just seemed to fit! Today, we love to share Ginny's tradition with all of you! A little secret to share, look for ladybugs when you visit. They are a little touch of sunshine to share a smile!

Facts
Ginny's Cafe was originally built in the 1950's and named the Kingwood Freeze. It was a favorite stop for soft-serve ice cream and delicious food. To this day, we love when customers share nostalgic memories from the past at the Kingwood Freeze.

Giving Back
As part of the neighborhood, we feel it is important to give back to the community around us. We sponsor local schools throughout several surrounding districts, township functions, local public & government events, local sports teams and clubs, fundraisers, charities, and non-profit organizations. We are also committed to donate annually on behalf of Ginny to the NOCC.
